Abstract
The structure transits between two restraint systems with greater and lower compliance. The system with greater compliance comprises concrete restraint units that are set side by side on a road surface. The restraint systems are connected in an abutting manner. The system with greater compliance comprises damping units (20a-20i) on a side averted from roadway, where the damping units reduce compliance section.
