Abstract
Description
本願は、2012年9月28日に出願された、ADVANCED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNIQUESと題された米国仮特許出願第61/707,784に対する優先権を主張する、2013年3月14日に出願された、MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD TO SUPPORT WLAN OFFLOADINGと題された米国特許出願番号13/830,381に対する優先権を主張し、その複数の内容は、本明細書中にその全体が参照によって組み込まれる。
本開示は、概して、無線通信に関し、より詳細には、無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)オフローディングをサポートする管理装置及び方法に関する。
Claims (24)
- 第1のインタフェースを介して無線ローカルエリアアクセスネットワーク(WLAN)のアクセスポイント(AP)から送信されたWLAN性能又はWLANアラーム情報に関する第1管理情報を取得し、前記第1管理情報を、第3世代パートナーシッププロジェクト(3GPP)プロトコルに従って実装され、前記第1のインタフェースとは異なるタイプ2インタフェースを介して送信される第2管理情報にマッピングするトランスレータと、
前記トランスレータに接続され、前記WLAN性能又は前記WLANアラーム情報に基づいて、WLANオフローディングオペレーションの管理をサポートすべく、前記タイプ2インタフェースを介して、3GPP通信ネットワークのインテグレーションリファレンスポイントマネージャ(IRPマネージャ)に前記第2管理情報を送信するIRPエージェントと
を備える装置。 - 前記第1管理情報は、前記WLAN性能及び前記WLANアラーム情報に関する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1管理情報は、前記APの状態変化を示す、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記状態変化は、ifOperStatusオブジェクトのアップ又はダウンへの変化である、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第2管理情報は、アラームであり、前記タイプ2インタフェースは、アラームインテグレーションリファレンスポイントインタフェース(AlarmIRPインタフェース)である、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、アクセスコントローラから前記第1管理情報を受信する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のインタフェースは、IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)802.11における標準プロトコルに従って実装されるタイプ1インタフェースである、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記第1管理情報は、前記APの複数の性能測定のうちの少なくとも1つ、又は、前記APからの複数のアラームの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- コンピュータに、
第1のインタフェースを介して無線ローカルエリアアクセスネットワーク(WLAN)のアクセスポイント(AP)から送信されたWLAN性能又はWLANアラーム情報に関する第1管理情報を取得する手順と、
前記第1管理情報を、第3世代パートナーシッププロジェクト(3GPP)プロトコルに従って実装され、前記第1のインタフェースとは異なるタイプ2インタフェースを介して送信される第2管理情報にマッピングする手順と、
前記WLAN性能又は前記WLANアラーム情報に基づいて、WLANオフローディングオペレーションの管理をサポートすべく、前記タイプ2インタフェースを介して、3GPP通信ネットワークのインテグレーションリファレンスポイントマネージャ(IRPマネージャ)に前記第2管理情報を送信する手順と
を実行させるためのプログラム。 - 前記第1管理情報は、前記WLAN性能及び前記WLANアラーム情報に関する、請求項9に記載のプログラム。
- 前記第1管理情報は、前記APの状態変化を示す、請求項9又は10に記載のプログラム。
- 前記状態変化は、ifOperStatusオブジェクトのアップ又はダウンへの変化である、請求項11に記載のプログラム。
- 前記第2管理情報は、アラームであり、前記タイプ2インタフェースは、アラームインテグレーションリファレンスポイントインタフェース(AlarmIRPインタフェース)である、請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載のプログラム。
- 前記コンピュータに、アクセスコントローラから前記第1管理情報を受信する手順をさらに実行させるための、請求項9から13のいずれか一項に記載のプログラム。
- 前記第1のインタフェースは、IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)802.11における標準プロトコルに従って実装されるタイプ1インタフェースである、請求項9から14のいずれか一項に記載のプログラム。
- 前記第1管理情報は、前記APの複数の性能測定のうちの少なくとも1つ、又は、前記APからの複数のアラームの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項9から15のいずれか一項に記載のプログラム。
- 請求項9から16のいずれか一項に記載のプログラムを記録したコンピュータ可読記録媒体。
- デバイスが、第1のインタフェースを介して無線ローカルエリアアクセスネットワーク(WLAN)のアクセスポイント(AP)から送信されたWLAN性能又はWLANアラーム情報に関する第1管理情報を取得する工程と、
前記デバイスが、前記第1管理情報を、第3世代パートナーシッププロジェクト(3GPP)プロトコルに従って実装され、前記第1のインタフェースとは異なるタイプ2インタフェースを介して送信される第2管理情報にマッピングする工程と、
前記デバイスが、前記WLAN性能又は前記WLANアラーム情報に基づいて、WLANオフローディングオペレーションの管理をサポートすべく、前記タイプ2インタフェースを介して、3GPP通信ネットワークのインテグレーションリファレンスポイントマネージャ(IRPマネージャ)に前記第2管理情報を送信する工程と
を備える方法。 - 前記第1管理情報は、前記WLAN性能及び前記WLANアラーム情報に関する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第1管理情報は、前記APの状態変化を示す、請求項18又は19に記載の方法。
- 前記状態変化は、ifOperStatusオブジェクトのアップ又はダウンへの変化である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記第2管理情報は、アラームであり、前記タイプ2インタフェースは、アラームインテグレーションリファレンスポイントインタフェース(AlarmIRPインタフェース)である、請求項18から21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記デバイスが、アクセスコントローラから前記第1管理情報を受信する工程をさらに備える、請求項18から22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
