Abstract
【解決手段】液晶装置100は、走査線駆動回路と、データ線駆動回路と、データ線駆動回路に電源を供給する第1VDD電源配線111と、走査線駆動回路に電源を供給する第2VDD電源配線112と、第1VDD電源配線111と第2VDD電源配線112とを電気的に共通化する共通配線と、を有し、共通配線は、導電体121,122と配線103aとコンタクトホールCNT131〜CNT134とを有する。

Description
図1は、電気光学装置としての液晶装置の構成を示す模式平面図である。図2は、図1に示す液晶装置のH−H’線に沿う模式断面図である。図3は、液晶装置の電気的な構成を示す等価回路図である。図4は、液晶装置の構成を示す模式断面図である。以下、液晶装置の構造を、図1〜図4を参照しながら説明する。
図7は、上記した液晶装置を備えた電子機器としての投射型表示装置の構成を示す概略図である。以下、液晶装置を備えた投射型表示装置の構成を、図7を参照しながら説明する。
上記した液晶装置100の構造であることに限定されず、電源配線、それよりも下層に設けられた第1導電体、第2導電体、及び配線を有する構造であれば、その他の構造の電気光学装置に適用するようにしてもよい。
上記したように、第1VDD電源配線111と第2VDD電源配線112を共通配線(コンタクトホール、導電体、配線)によって電気的に共通化(同電位)することに限定されず、その他の電源配線を電気的に共通化するようにしてもよい。例えば、データ線駆動回路22に接続されたVSS電源配線と、走査線駆動回路24に接続されたVSS電源配線とを、共通配線を用いて電気的に共通化するようにしてもよい。
上記した電気光学装置は、液晶装置100であることに限定されず、例えば、有機EL(Electro Luminescence)装置、電気泳動装置などの表示装置にも適用することができる。また、反射型液晶装置(LCOS)、プラズマディスプレイ(PDP)、電界放出型ディスプレイ(FED、SED)、デジタルマイクロミラーデバイス(DMD)にも適用可能である。
上記したように、電子機器として投射型表示装置1000(プロジェクター)を例に説明してきたが、これに限定されず、例えば、ビューワー、ビューファインダー、ヘッドマウントディスプレイなどに適用するようにしてもよい。また、液晶テレビ、携帯電話、電子手帳、ワードプロセッサー、ビューファインダー型又はモニター直視型のビデオテープレコーダー、ワークステーション、モバイル型のパーソナルコンピューター、テレビ電話、POS端末、ページャー、電卓、タッチパネルなどの各種電子機器、また、電子ペーパーなどの電気泳動装置、カーナビゲーション装置等に適用するようにしてもよい。

前記データ線駆動回路に電源を供給する第1電源配線と、
前記走査線駆動回路に電源を供給する第2電源配線と、
前記第1電源配線と前記第2電源配線とを電気的に接続する配線と、
前記第1電源配線と前記配線とを電気的に接続する第1導電体と、
前記第2電源配線と前記配線とを電気的に接続する第2導電体と、
を有することを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電気光学装置であって、
前記第1導電体及び前記第2導電体は、前記第1電源配線及び前記第2電源配線が設けられた層と前記配線が設けられた層との間に設けられており、
前記第1電源配線と前記第2電源配線とが設けられた層と、前記第1導電体及び前記第2導電体が設けられた層との間に設けられた第1絶縁膜と、
前記前記第1導電体及び前記第2導電体が設けられた層と、前記配線が設けられた層との間に設けられた第2絶縁膜を有することを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電気光学装置であって、
前記第1電源配線と前記第1導電体との間、及び、前記第2電源配線と前記第2導電体との間は、前記第1絶縁層に設けられた第1コンタクトホールを介して接続されており、
前記第1導電体及び前記第2導電体と前記配線は、前記第2絶縁層に設けられた第2コンタクトホールを介して接続されていることを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項3に記載の電気光学装置であって、
前記第2コンタクトホールの接続抵抗は、前記第1コンタクトホールの接続抵抗より高いことを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置であって、
前記第1導電体及び前記第2導電体は、ゲート電極と同一膜に設けられていることを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置であって、
複数の画素部に対応して設けられたトランジスターと、
前記トランジスターを遮光する遮光膜と、を有し、
前記配線は、前記遮光膜と同一膜に設けられていることを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置であって、
前記第1電源配線及び前記第2電源配線は、データ線と同一膜であることを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を備えることを特徴とする電子機器。
