Per ovviare a tali inconvenienti sono stati proposti attacchi cosiddetti "step-in" costituiti da un elemento di aggancio montato sullo snow-board interagente con una corrispondente appendice rigida applicata alla suola della calzatura. Claims

R I V E N D I C A Z I O N I 1. Snow-board binding characterized by the fact of including: - a base plate (2), - a tip (6) articulated to the base plate in correspondence with a first axis (8) transversal to the plate, - a heel (26) articulated to the base plate at a second axis (18) transversal to the plate, - means for guiding and controlling the simultaneous articulation (16,20,22) of the toe cap (6) and of the heel unit (26) to bring the binding from an open configuration for the introduction of the shoe to a closing configuration of locking of the shoe and vice versa, said members being articulated at one end to the toe box and to the heel unit, the stability of the two configurations of closure and opening being obtained by elastic overcoming by the guide and control means of a dead point constituted by the plane passing through the articulation axes of the toe and heel unit to the base plate.

2. Hitch according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that the tip (6) is articulated to the base plate in correspondence with pins (8) to which two lateral strips (10) are also articulated, provided at the end of a band (12) which embraces the tip (6) from above.

3. Attachment according to claim 1 characterized in that the control means consist of a bar (16) which connects the two strips (10).

4. A binding according to claim 1 characterized in that the simultaneous articulation members consist of rods (20) articulated to the straps (10), the free ends of which slide in corresponding sleeves (22) integral with the heel unit.

5. Attachment according to claim 1 characterized in that solenoid springs (30) are placed coaxially to the rods.

6. Binding according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that it includes safety means (34,36,38,40,42) to prevent accidental rotation of the toe and heel.

7. Binding according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that said safety means consist of a pawl (36) provided on the heel unit which engages elastically in a seat (34) obtained on the flaps.

8. Coupling according to claim 1 characterized in that said pawl (36) is provided with a cable (40) for its actuation in the sense of disengaging it from the corresponding seat in contrast to a spring (38) acting thereon.

Attachment according to claim 2 characterized in that the band (12) is made in two portions connected to each other by a lever and toothed strap closure device.

10. Snow-board attachment according to claims 1 to 9 and substantially as illustrated and described.
