1331747 Suspending curtains SELECTUS Ltd 4 Dec 1970 [12 Dec 1969] 60774/69 Heading A4B [Also in Division D1] A curtain heading and pleating tape 10 includes one or more draw threads 16 to effect pleating and is provided on at least one surface with a plurality of upstanding, hook-shaped, filamentary fastener elements 15, 25, 35 formed by one or more threads 14 woven in the tape, which elements 15, 25, 35 in use engage co-operating elements on the curtain 17 or on a further tape secured thereto. The fastener elements may comprise the pile threads of Velcro (Registered Trade Mark) fabric. The tape may be woven from plastics warp 11 and weft 12 threads, the hook elements 15, 25, 35 being formed from warp threads 14. The or each draw thread 16 may be woven into the tape and may comprise a monofilament or a plied yarn. Suspension hooks 18 may be engaged between the tape 10 and the curtain 17.
