Claims (11)
- Zusammensetzung, die für den menschlichen Verzehr geeignet ist, umfassend Decansäure und Octansäure in einem Verhältnis von mindestens 2: 1 Gew./Gew., bei der die Decansäure mehr als 50 Gew.-% des Gesamtgewichts des Fettsäuregehalts darstellt, und wahlweise im Wesentlichen frei ist von einer anderen gesättigten Fettsäure, zur Verwendung bei der Behandlung einer Erkrankung, die mit Mitochondrien-Dysfunktion assoziiert ist, wobei die Erkrankung Epilepsie, Diabetes, Parkinson-Erkrankung oder Demenz einschließlich Alzheimer-Erkrankung ist.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach Anspruch 1, bei der das Verhältnis Decansäure zu Octansäure mindestens 3: 1 Gew./Gew. oder mindestens 4: 1 Gew./Gew. oder mindestens 5: 1 Gew./Gew., mindestens 6: 1 Gew./Gew. oder mindestens 9: 1 Gew./Gew. oder mindestens 10: 1 Gew./Gew. oder mindestens 20: 1 Gew./Gew. beträgt.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, bei der die Decansäure mindestens 60 Gew.-% des Gesamtgewichts des Fettsäuregehalts oder mindestens 70 Gew.-% des Gesamtgewichts des Fettsäuregehalts oder mindestens 80 Gew.-% des Gesamtgewichts des Fettsäuregehalts oder mindestens 90 Gew.-% des Gesamtgewichts des Fettsäuregehalts darstellt.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, die im Wesentlichen frei ist von ein- oder mehrfach ungesättigten Fettsäuren.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, die 2520 bis 3780 kJ pro 100 g Trockenmasse bereitstellt.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Gewichtsmengen von Lipid zu der Summe von Proteinen und Kohlenhydraten 1,5-5,0 zu 1 betragen, oder die Gewichtsmengen von Lipid zu der Summe von Proteinen und Kohlenhydraten 2,0-3,8 zu 1 betragen.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 in Form eines vollständigen Nährstoffprodukts oder in einer Form zur Anreicherung von Nahrungsmittel oder Getränken.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 in pulverförmiger Form, einer sprühgetrockneten Form, in Form eines Nahrungsmittels oder in Form einer ÖI-in-Wasser-Emulsion.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 in Form von Mayonnaise, Margarine, Aufstrich mit niedrigem Fettgehalt, einem Milchprodukt einschließlich Joghurts, einem Käseaufstrich, Schmelzkäse, einem Milchdessert, einer aromatisierten Milch, Sahne, einem fermentierten Milchprodukt, Käse, Butter, einem kondensierten Milchprodukt, einer Eiscrememischung, einem Sojaprodukt, pasteurisiertem Flüssigei, einem Backprodukt, einem Süßwarenprodukt, Süßwarenriegel, Schokoladenriegel, Riegel mit hohem Fettgehalt, Flüssigemulsion, sprühgetrocknetem Pulver, gefriergetrocknetem Pulver, UHT-Pudding, pasteurisiertem Pudding, Gel, Gelee, Joghurt oder einem Nahrungsmittel mit einer fettbasierten oder wasserhaltigen Füllung.
- Decansäure, die in Form einer Zusammensetzung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 verabreicht wird, zur Verwendung bei der Behandlung einer Erkrankung, die mit Mitochondrien-Dysfunktion assoziiert ist, wobei die Erkrankung Epilepsie, Diabetes, Parkinson-Erkrankung oder Demenz einschließlich Alzheimer-Erkrankung ist.
- Zusammensetzung zur Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 oder Decansäure zur Verwendung nach Anspruch 10, wobei pro Tag eine Dosierung von mindestens 5 g/l bis 500 g/l Decansäure verabreicht wird.
