Claims (7)

  1. Ophthalmische Vorrichtung, umfassend etwa eine lokalisierte Menge eines Antiallergikums, wobei die ophthalmische Vorrichtung aus einer Etafilcon A umfassenden Formulierung hergestellt wird und das Antiallergikum aus der aus Ketotifen, seinen pharmazeutisch unbedenklichen Salzen und Gemischen davon bestehenden Gruppe ausgewählt ist, wobei sich die lokalisierte Menge auf eine Menge an Antiallergikum bezieht, die sich in getrennten Teilen der ophthalmischen Vorrichtung befindet, und wobei die lokalisierte Menge an Antiallergikum zwischen etwa 1 µg und etwa 200 µg liegt.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die lokalisierte Menge an Antiallergikum zwischen etwa 1 µg und etwa 90 µg liegt.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, wobei die lokalisierte Menge an Antiallergikum zwischen etwa 1 µg und etwa 50 µg liegt.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, wobei die lokalisierte Menge an Antiallergikum zwischen etwa 2 µg und etwa 20 µg liegt.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die lokalisierte Menge etwa 2 µg bis etwa 20 µg beträgt und in Kontakt mit der Bindehaut steht.
  6. Vorrichtung nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei das Antiallergikum einer separaten Zone der Vorrichtung hinzugefügt wird, indem das Antiallergikum in Beschichtungen oder Pigmenten enthalten ist, die der Vorrichtung hinzugefügt werden.
  7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die ophthalmische Vorrichtung entweder eine weiche Kontaktlinse, eine Intraokularlinse, eine Overlay-Linse, ein Augeninsert, ein Punctum-Plug oder ein optisches Insert enthält.
