Abstract
837,810. Water-cooled motors. SOC. GRAMELECTRIC. May 7, 1957 [May 7, 1956], No. 14474/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 35. The motor of a ship's deck mechanism such as a winch has a high-resistance rotor, its torque is controlled by a variable impedance, its stator and rotor are cooled by water from the general pressurized water of the ship and the mechanical and electrical parts are protected from sea water by insulating coatings. The impedance may be mounted on the motor housing. The windings may be coated with polyethylene and the other internal parts by a polyester.
