[Class 40 (iii)] Band-pass intermediate-frequency filters for wireless sets comprise a pair of inductively coupled antiresonant circuits 22 and in parallel or in series therewith a pair of piezo-electric transformers 23, 33 having resonance frequencies respectively lower than the lower resonant frequency and higher than the higher resonant frequency of the coupled circuits. The resulting filter has a pass-band of 8-9 kilocycles with a sharp cut-off. A mathematical discussion is given to enable the dimensions of the components. to be selected.
