Nov. 7, 1921 Table games.-A board for playing a table game cf the kind described in Specification 152,589, is built up of top and bottom surfaces of three-ply wood or the like spaced apart by an interposed strengthening framework, pockets or cups being formed by cutting out the top surface and the framework. Discs or hexagons having small flat surfaces in the centre of both the top and bottom faces and tapering to a curved blunt edge at the periphery are flicked over the board bv means of a resilient plate mounted at the end of a handle. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the top and bottom surfaces a, b and the strengthening framework c are surrounded by a concave fence or rail d, and the pockets e are cut out of the top surface a and the framework c. Shallow cups f surrounded by markings h of circular, hexagonal or other shape are formed near the pockets e and at the centre of the board. Numerals marked near the cups f indicate the order in which the pockets are to be played for. In playing a game, the discs or hexagons, Figs. 6 and 7, are caused to bound by pressing on their edges by means of the appliance shown in Fig. 3; this appliance comprises a handle i with foot piece i<1> and resilient pressing-plate k of spring metal or hard flbre. The players endeavour to flick the discs into the pockets f, the points accruing being pegged on scoring tablets m, Fig. 9, secured at each end of the board.
