1498175 Primer compositions ALBRIGHT & WILSON Ltd 5 Dec 1974 [13 Dec 1973 24 Sept 1974] 57871/73 and 41484/74 Heading C4A [Also in Division C3] A non-aqueous primer composition comprises, as a ferrous corrosion inhibitor, a pigment comprising at least 20% by weight of a magnesium phosphate in a pigment volume concentration of from 20 to 30%. In the examples, the compositions comprise pigments comprising zinc phosphate or magnesium phosphate and titanium dioxide and bleached barytes incorporated into paints containing a modified alkyd resin containing phthalic anhydride and linseed oil esterified with pentaerythritol and white spirit.
