Abstract
1,051,694. Springs. BUDAVOX BUDAPESTI HIRADASTECHNIKAI VALLALAT. June 25, 1963 [June 26, 1962], No. 25273/63. Heading F2S. [Also in Division H1] A vibration - damping spring, for steadying the selector fingers 5 in telephony cross - bar switch, the fingers being formed of a few turns 6 of spring steel wire at one end screwed on to a screwthreaded pin 7 riveted to a marking bar 8 and a finger 5 at the other end, comprises a generally V-shaped leaf spring which is formed at its middle portion with a neck 3 and shoulders 2 adapted to engage in a recess 9 in the bar 8. The free ends of the leaf spring are bent into a wedge shape to embrace the turns 6 of the selector fingers. In a onesided construction (Fig. 6, not shown) a shoulder 4 serves to maintain the spring in its recess in the cross-bar.
