PROCEDIMIENTO DE PROTECCION FRENTE A LA CORROSION, DE CUBAS Y CONTENEDORES MEDIANTE RECUBRIMIENTOS CERAMICOS. EL METODO DE PROTECCION CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1.) PREPARACION FISICA DE LOS MATERIALES EMPLEADOS EN LOS RECUBRIMIENTOS: MOLIENDA, ESFEROIDIZACION Y TAMIZADO DE MATERIALES. 2.) PREPARAR LA SUPERFICIE A RECUBRIR, ESTA DEBE SER NO PULIDA Y LIBRE DE IMPUREZAS. 3.) APLICACION DE LOS RECUBRIMIENTOS EN ESTADO FUNDIDO, BIEN SEA CON SOPLETE DE PLASMA O SOPLETE DE GASES. 4.) OPERACIONES ADECUADAS PARA ASEGURAR LA ADHERENCIA DEL RECUBRIMIENTO, FRENTE A DILATACIONES Y CONTRACCIONES POR CAMBIOS DE TEMPERATURA. 5.) RECTIFICADO Y PULIDO DEL RECUBRIMIENTO, CONDICIONADO A SU APLICACION.
