Abstract
Martillo mecánico de presión atmosférica que se caracteriza por estar constituido por un cilindro de hierro o acero sujeto mediante abrazaderas a un bloque de madera fijo a un puntal en cuyo interior por la parte de arriba se mueve un pistón accionado por una biela desde la parte superior que a su vez es impulsada mediante unión giratoria por un balancín fijo en su otro extremo a un soporte de hierro que forma parte de la bancada. En la parte central del balancín existe una abertura prolongada recorrida por el extremo superior de una biela motriz que le comunica el movimiento de una excéntrica accionada por una transmisión compuesta por un eje que gira en dos cojinetes fijos a un soporte de hierros angulares y una polea unida a un motor apropiado.
