Vorliegende Erfindung hat den Zweck, beim Umhergehen mit brennenden Kerzen in Zimmer und auf Treppen das Herabfallen von Tropfen und die dadurch verursachten Flecke zu vermeiden. Der Apparat besteht in einem Becken α aus Glas oder Porcellan und einem Beckenhalter aus Metall, welcher an der Kerze befestigt werden kann. Dieser Beckenhalter besteht, Fig. ι und 2, in einem federnden Ringe b, an dessen innerer Seite drei Arme c befestigt sind. Eine andere Construction ist durch die Fig. 3, 4 und s dargestellt; ein federnder Ring d ist mit drei kleinen Stiften versehen, welche sich in die Kerze eindrücken, und trägt sechs Lappen, welche abwechselnd derartig angeordnet sind, dafs ein Lappen von oben lind der folgende von unten das Becken festhält.The apparatus consists in a basin α of glass or porcelain and a cymbal holder made of metal, which can be attached to the candle.
