Außerdem wölbt sich der Dichtungsring beim "Atmen" nach außen und nach innen, so daß die Dichtkante bei einer zylindrischen Auflagefläche abwechselnd auf einem sauberen und einem verschmutzten Abschnitt der Mantelfäche gleitet.
