Description
For the insulation of pipes against heat and cold, moldings are such as B. so-called shells, the cut surface of which forms a Kreisri.ngstück, for Use. One has these upper shells made of the most varied of materials manufactured, e.g. B. made of silicate-containing fibers, such as slag wool, rock wool, glass wool, or made of cork, synthetic foam, etc. The attachment of these insulating shells on the too insulating pipe is done so that shells are placed around the pipe and then wire be tied together. This way of working has proven to be quite cumbersome in practice proven. In most cases it requires two workers, because the pods can only be fastened in such a way that a man puts them around the pipe and holds them tight, while the second ties her up. Tying with wire and tape must be done very carefully be made so that the insulating material is not damaged.
These disadvantages are now alleviated through the use of a simple device turned off, which forms the subject of the invention. The device consists from an annular spring, which in the form of a wire, steel band o. The like. Manufactured Spring clip is used. The function of the ring spring is shown in the figures evident. The two half-shells i and 2 are held together by the spring clip 3 (Fig: i). If the half-shells are now to be mounted on the pipe, you need only at 4 pull the ring spring with the two shell halves apart so far, as it is the diameter of the to be isolated. Tube corresponds (Fig. 2). The so The resulting slots make it possible to pull the trays directly over the pipe. After you have loosened the spring clip, the insulating shells are through the Spring clip firmly pressed against the pipe wall and do not require any further fastening. Conversely, if you want to remove the shells from the pipe wall again, this can be done done in a simple way so that you pull the spring clips apart, so that the insulating shells can be easily detached from the pipe. Depending on the length or size of the insulating shells, one or more spring clips are used.
