Description
Zündgerät für elektrische Entladungslampen Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Hochfrequenz-Zündgeräte für elektrische Hochdruck-Entladungslampen, insbesondere Quecksilberhöchstdrucklampen. Zum Starten dieser Lampen hat man bisher Zündgeräte mit Netztransformatoren hoher Ausgangsspannung oder Zerhacker-Zündgeräte verwendet. Transforinator-Zündgeräte sind im allgemeinen sehr aufwendig und beanspruchen vor allen Dingen besondere Mengen an Eisen und Kupfer. Zerhacker-Zündgeräte mit mechanischen Zerhackern oder Funkenstrecken an Luft sind empfindlich gegen korrodierende Einflüsse, insbesondere gegen Feuchtigkeit. Ferner sind sie von der Luftdichte abhängig. In diesem Fall hat es sich gezeigt, daß Zündgeräte nicht mehr arbeiteteten, wenn sie unter anderen klimatischen Bedingungen zum Zünden von Hochdrucklampen eingesetzt waren. Darüber hinaus ist es bekannt, Zündgeräte zu konstruieren, die 5 bis 10 Impulse pro Netzhalbwelle ergeben. Sie wurden vorwiegend hergestellt, um Lampen mit hoher Leistungsaufnahme zum Zünden zu bringen. Demgegenüber hat sich der Erfinder die Aufgabe gestellt, Zündgeräte für Lampen mit kleinerer Leistungsaufnahme zu bauen. Sie sollen insbesondere klein und wirtschaftlich sein, wobei an sich bekannte Zündgeräte-Hochfrequenztransformatoren mit Ferritkernen zur Anwendung kommen.Ignition device for electric discharge lamps The invention relates to high-frequency ignition devices for electric high-pressure discharge lamps, in particular super-high pressure mercury lamps. Gemäß der Erfindung ist ein Hochfrequenz-Zündgerät für elektrische Hochdruck-Entladungslampen, insbesondere für Quecksilberhöchstdrucklampen, bei dem die Sekundärseite des Hochfrequenztransformators über einen Hochfrequenzkurzschlußkondensator direkt an die Elektroden der Lampe gelegt ist, derart vorgeschlagen, daß bei Lampen mit einer Leistungsaufnahme von 50 bis 500 Watt in Reihe mit der Primärwicklung des mit einem Ferritkern versehenen Hochfrequenztransformators an Stelle einer Funkenstrecke ein überspannungsleiter für eine Durchschlagsspannung von 350 ± 30 Volt geschaltet ist und parallel zu dieser Reihenschaltung ein Kondensator liegt, welcher über eineDrossel an eineWechselspannungsquelle von 200 bis 250 Volt angeschlossen ist, wobei die Eigenfrequenz dieses Kreises so gewählt ist, daß in jeder Halbwelle nur 5 bis 10 Impulse entstehen. Der Kondensator 4 seinerseits ist über einen überspannungsableiter 6 mit einer Durchschlagsspannung von 350 ± 30 Volt an die Primärwicklung eines Ferlitkerntransformators 7 angeschlossen, während dessen Sekundärseite über einen Hochfrequenzkurzschlußkondensator 8 an die Elektroden 9, 10 einer Lampe 11 geführt ist. Quecksilberhöchstdrucklampen mit einer Leistungsaufnahme von 50 bis 500 Watt können hier Verwendung finden, desgleichen Xenon- oder Spektrallampen. In dem vorliegenden Fall haben sich Zündsparmungsspitzen von 10 000 bis 20 000 Volt ergeben. Zu erwähnen bleibt noch, daß die Lampe 11 über die Klemmen 12, 13 mit einem an sich bekannten, nicht dargestellten Vorschaltgerät verbunden ist, welches seinerseits an eine ebenfalls nicht gezeigte Speisestromquelle angeschlossen ist.In the figure, 1 and 2 represent two mains connection terminals, which are connected, for example, to a mains AC voltage source with 220 volts / 50 Hertz.
