Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MóDULO DE AIRBAG COM GERADOR DE GáS DE ESTáGIOS MúLTIPLOS"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um módulo de airbag com um gerador de gás de estágios múltiplos, que compreende um airbag e uma capa de airbag a qual está disposta sobre o airbag e a qual é aberta pelo airbag quando a última é desdobrada. A invenção é caracterizada pela combinação do airbag (5) o qual no seu estado inoperante está dobrado de tal modo que após o gerador de gás (3) ser disparado, ele é sucessivamente puxado para fora do alojamento (2) do módulo de airbag (1) pelos gases descarregados do gerador de gás, uma capa de airbag (7, 12, 13, 19, 23) e/ou a parte (24) que age sobre o airbag (5) dobrado, as quais estão configuradas de tal modo que uma vez que a capa de airbag (7, 12, 13, 19, 23) abriu de um ponto predeterminado em diante, forças crescentemente maiores são necessárias para desdobrar o airbag (5). Como um resultado da invenção, o volume do airbag pode ser mais economicamente adaptado aos estágios de disparo do gerador de gás.
