Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MATERIAIS CERâMICOS PARA A FABRICAçãO DE ROLOS REFRATáRIOS"<D>. A invenção refere-se ao uso de materiais cerâmicos contendo uma fase cristalina genericamente definida como "óxido" e consistindo em pelo menos um metal, um semimetal ou não-metal tal como fósforo, arsênico, carbono e selênio quimicamente ligado a oxigênio, e representada por exemplo, por silicatos tais como mulita e/ou cordierita, e uma fase definida "não-óxido"e consistindo em compostos do tipo compreendendo carbetos e/ou nitretos de elementos metálicos e/ou semimetálicos, e/ou de metais tais como alumínio e níquel e/ou ligas metálicas tais como ligas de níquel, cobalto ou alumínio, e/ou aços. Tais materiais cerâmicos óxido/não-óxido contendo as fases óxido e não-óxido em predeterminada proporção são usados para fabricação de produtos cerâmicos tais como rolos cerâmicos refratários e outros suportes extrudados para fornos de queima industriais. Os produtos cerâmicos obtidos desta maneira possuem consideráveis propriedades que podem resolver aquelas situações particularmente severas que surgem na operação de fornos industriais tais como deformação e insuficiente resistência devido a mudanças de temperatura. os rolos cerâmicos refratários e os outros suportes refratários extrudados usando-se o material cerâmico óxido/não-óxido também são reivindicados como tal, como é o processo para sua preparação.
