Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"CERâMICA COMPOSTA REFORçADA POR FIBRA E PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO DE UMA TAL CERâMICA"<D>. é indicada uma cerâmica composta reforçada por fibras com fibras altamente resistentes a aquecimento, particularmente à base de Si/C/B/N, que são ligadas por reação a uma matriz à base de Si, que é preparada, por impregnação dos feixes de fibras de Si/C/B/N com um aglutinante apropriado para pirólise e o aglutinante é fixado, opcionalmente o feixe de fibras é condicionado em seguida com uma camada de proteção de silicatação apropriada para pirólise, como resina fenólica ou policarbossilano, prepara-se em seguida uma mistura de feixes de fibras, preenchedores, como SiC e carbono na forma de grafite ou fuligem, e aglutinantes, e a mistura é prensada para preparação de um moldado não-curado, em seguida é pirolisada sob vácuo ou gás de proteção para preparação de um corpo moldado poroso, que então preferentemente é infiltrado sob vácuo com um fundido de silício. Assim são preparadas de maneira racional cerâmicas compostas reforçadas por fibras em uma grande produção em série, que visivelmente apresentam propriedades aperfeiçoadas perante as cerâmicas compostas usuais e particularmente são apropriadas para emprego em sistemas de frenagem com alto desempenho (Fig. 1).
