Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA CONTROLAR UM SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO VEICULAR AUTOMATIZADA". Método e sistema para controlar uma relação de marcha de partida máxima (GR~ T~) de um sistema de transmissão mecânica automatizada (10) é descrito. Para proteger a embreagem (16) sob condições que vão desde terreno plano até rampa leve, uma marcha de partida máxima é determinada pelo sistema quando um Peso Bruto de Combinação (GCW) válido do veículo é conhecido. A marcha de partida máxima é definida como a relação de marcha de partida mais alta (GR~ T~) que proverá partidabilidade adequada sem ter de colocar energia excessiva na embreagem (16) durante a partida. O sistema (10) forçará uma mudança para baixo se for detectada aceleração insuficiente de veículo pelo sistema. Se o GCW do veículo não for conhecido, a marcha de partida máxima (GR~ T~) será limitada àquela para um veículo totalmente carregado. Para proteger contra força excessiva transmitida pela embreagem (16), a força através da embreagem (16) é determinada e o torque de motor e/ou velocidade de motor é limitado a valores resultantes em força através da embreagem (16) abaixo de um valor predeterminado. A força através da embreagem (16) é determinada pela velocidade de entrada de transmissão (IS), pela velocidade de motor (ES) e pelo torque no volante.
