Abstract
Se proporcionan aparatos, sistemas y métodos para una ventilación rápida de vacío para mitigar la aparición de ruptura de la oclusión dentro de un sistema de aspiración fluídica de faco. El sistema de aspiración puede utilizar una bomba de desplazamiento positivo para generar flujo y una válvula de ventilación para ventilar o controlar la presión; o el nivel de vacío según las sugerencias del sensor de presión detectadas dentro del ojo y en la bomba. Las modalidades descritas en la presente proporcionan una válvula de ventilación de apertura rápida que produce una respuesta de flujo de rápida apertura tras la rotación angular de la válvula de ventilación de apertura rápida. El rendimiento de flujo en la válvula de ventilación de apertura rápida mejora al aumentar el área transversal efectiva de la válvula en posiciones casi cerradas de la válvula. En particular, el aumento del área transversal se logra al formar una porción de borde cóncava para complementar un borde circular y una apertura de un canal de flujo formado a través de la válvula de ventilación.
