Abstract

Una prenda absorbente que comprende un compuesto absorbente lateralmente expansible y que se extiende longitudinalmente que tiene extremos opuestos y regiones laterales opuestas. El compuesto absorbente comprende una hoja inferior, una hoja superior y una parte de retención colocada entre la hoja inferior y la hoja superior. En una realización preferida, la hoja inferior y parte de retención comprenden cada una por lo menos un doblez formado a lo largo de por lo menos una de las regiones laterales opuestas, con los dobleces entredoblados. Un par de paneles frontales están unidos a las regiones laterales opuestas del compuesto absorbente adyacente a uno de los extremos opuestos de dicho compuesto absorbente y un par de paneles posteriores están unidos a las regiones laterales opuestas adyacentes al otro extremo opuesto del compuesto absorbente. En una realización preferida, los paneles frontal y posterior están unidos para formar un par de paneles laterales.
