Abstract
En una unidad de hidrocraqueo, se alimentan los gases vaporizados (flash gases) provenientes del separador de alta presión al fondo de una zona de absorción en la cual los gases entrantes son puestos en contacto a contracorriente con un solvente pobre. El solvente pobre elimina por absorción el contenido de metano, etano, propano, butano y pentanos C1+) del contenido de H. La corriente de gas que sale de la parte superior de la zona de absorción contiene típicamente H con una pureza de 90 a 98 mol%, o aún mayor, H que es alimentado a la corriente de gas reciclado para proveer H con una pureza en la gama de 96 a 99 mol%, con lo cual se provee un aumento de la eficiencia total de la unidad hidroprocesadora. El proceso también puede ser empleado con reactores de hidrotratamiento, hidrodesulfurización, hidrodenitrogenación e hidrodealquilación.
