Abstract

Un proceso novedoso para producir hidrocarburos, dicho proceso comprendiendo poner en contacto una mezcla de monoxido de carbono e hidrogeno a temperaturay presion elevadas con un catalizador que comprende un metal del Grupo VIII soportado sobre un p ortador, dicho metal del Grupo VIII estando presente por lomenos parcialmente en forma metálica, y dicho catalizador comprendiendo adicionalmente fosfato inorgánico en una cantidad de por lo menos 0,05% en peso,calculado como forforo elemental con re lacion al peso del catalizador; un catalizador novedoso que comprende, soportados sobre un portador, un metal del GrupoVIII seleccionado de níquel, cobalto, hierro y rutenio, y un metal adicional seleccionado de manganeso, vanadio, circonio y renio, dicho catalizadorcomprendiendo adicionalmente fosfato inorgánico en una cantidad de por lo menos 0,05% en peso, calculado como fosforo elemental con relacion al peso delcatalizador; y un proceso para preparar la composicion catalizadora novedosa.
