Abstract
Es posible aislar en forma simple las oximas azabiciclo O-sustituidas biologicamente activas que poseen la configuracion Z, (ya que estos isomerosno son activos), sin necesidad de efectuar una separacion por cromatografía, y obtener altosre ndimientos y pureza E/Z mediante la union de un 1-azabiciclo-3-ona de formula (I), donde n= 1 o 2, y donde la configuracion estereoquímica es R, S, o R/S cuando n es 1; con una hidroxilamina O-sustituidade formula (II), donde R es arilo oheter oarilo, en solucion acuosa acídica. Del mismo modo, se puede efectuar la conversion de un isomero configurado E aun isomero Z sin necesidad de realizar una purificacion o separacion. La neutralizacion y la subsiguiente aislacion dela base libre, seguida por laprecipitacion de la sal permite la separacion del isomero Z con alta pureza Z/E. Los productos son agonistas muscarínicos y poseen utilidad para eltratamiento de trastornos cognoscitivos, incluyendo demencia senil detipo Alzheimer.
