Abstract
Una disposición de vigilancia por video tiene una cámara equipada con una lente de 180 grados que tiene un campo de visión sustancialmente hemisférico.La disposición implementa operaciones equivalentes a la panoramización, inclinación y cambio de plano de una cámara convencional sin el uso de partesmóviles. La lente está montada verticalmente por encima de una plano que está siendo vigilada. La cámara produce una imagen en 180 grados formada por unapluralidad de pixels. La imagen en180 grados está distorsionada debida a las propiedades de la lente de 180 grados. La disposición corrige la distorsiónmapeando los pixels de la imagen en 180 grados en coordenadas producidas seleccionando una parte particular de la imagen en180 grados a ser visualizada. Esto permite que un operador seleccione partes del campo de visión de la lente de 180 grados y las visualiza como si hubieran sido producidas por unacámara que tiene una lente convencional que está siendo panoramizada, inclinada o está cambiando el plano. La imagen en 180 grados formada por la cámara esdividida en cuatro componentes de imagen separadas llevados por cuatro haces de fibras ópticas. Cada haz tiene un CCD y un circuito procesador de imagenasociadoque forma una representación electrónica del componente de imagen llevado por ese haz.
