Abstract

Una composición de protección térmica formadora de carbonización que comprende un ligante, un agente de soplado que forma un gas cuando es expuestoa condiciones térmicas extremas, para expandir la carbonización, un agente de secado quetiene por lo menos dos ligaduras dobles conjugadas o triples y unmétodo para proteger un sustrato del fuego o de condiciones térmicas mediante dicha composición. La composición se aplica a un sustrato como películadelgada, y confiere tiempo deprotecci ón notoriamente prolongado con una eficacia térmica superior a las composiciones conocidas.
