Abstract

The amount of movement of the secondary jet influences the shape of the flame and by controlling the secondary jet, the shape of the flame can be controlled. This control of the flame shape allows the resulting flame heat release profile to be adapted to the current requirements of the oven or the like, therefore, supplying a higher quality product output from the oven or the like using a reduced amount of energy required by it.
