Abstract
The recovery device has a catching hook (14) acting with a recovery member on the craft, and a hoist (16) on a recovery platform (12) to lower the catching hook onto the water surface (13). The catching device is in the form of a basically flat, buoyant net (18). The recovery line (19) has a catching hook (17) on it which is free-standing relative to the craft.
