Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para tratar aguas residuales o un lodo organico similar para producir un producto pasteurizado y seco que comprende los pasos de: dividir el lodo en por lo menos una primera porcion y por lo menos una segunda porcion; secar la primera porcion de manera que la primera porcion tenga un contenido de solidos secos mayor que el de la segunda porcion; mezclar la primera porcion y la segunda porcion para producir una mezcla que tenga un contenido de solidos secos que sea intermedio entre el de la primera y la segunda porciones; anadir una mezcla alcalina a la mezcla para pasteurizar la mezcla y producir asi el producto sin emplear secado subsecuente por aeracion.
