Abstract
La presente invención proporciona compuestos y métodos para la preparación de carbacefems, utilizados en la producción de análogos de cefalosporina. Los compuestos son compuestos de 4, 6 biciclos caracterizados por la presencia de tanto un grupo quiral de protección de amino como un grupo de protección de carboxi. Los métodos colocan ambos grupos de protección dentro de la primera estructura del compuesto básico en el esquema de síntesis y retiene ambos completamente, por lo que hace al procedimiento total simple, eficiente y elevado en producción. La eliminación del grupo quiral auxiliar y el grupo de protección carboxi es complementada con yoduro de trimetilsililo para producir el núcleo carbacefem.
