Abstract
Se proporciona un proceso mejorado para preparar vodka con excelentes propiedades que comprende mezclar agua y alcohol etílico, tratar la mezcla con carbón activado seguido por filtración y, opcionalmente, agregar azúcar. La mezcla de agua y alcohol se enfría hasta una temperatura de aproximadamente -18°C, temperatura en la cual se mantiene la mezcla por al menos 4 a 8 horas. Finalmente, la mezcla resultante se filtra en frío a dicha temperatura baja y después se permite adaptar gradualmente a la temperatura ambiente. Dicha azúcar opcional se agrega al filtrado y la mezcla de producto de vodka obtenida se puede filtrar nuevamente antes de embotellar. El vodka comprende particularmente simplemente un grado alcohólico en volumen de entre 37.5% en volumen y un 50% en volumen, particularmente de aproximadamente un 40% en volumen, y entre 1 y 2 g/L de azúcar.
