Abstract
Un modelo de señalización que notifica la capacidad de agregación (CA) de la onda portadora del UE, inventivo, hace posible que los UE (30) agreguen grandes cantidades de portadoras de componentes para transmitir capacidades relevantes de la CA a la red, de manera más eficiente que el modelo de señalización actual (heredado). En lugar de notificar las capacidades de CA / MIMO / CSI / NAICS por separado para cada combinación de bandas admitidas, incluyendo las configuraciones de repliegue, las modalidades de la presente invención informan las capacidades relacionadas con la radiofrecuencia (RF) y banda de base (BB) del UE, por separado, o las informan disociadas de las configuraciones de la banda CA. Este enfoque evita la necesidad de señalizar el conjunto completo de capacidades del UE (30) para cada una (posiblemente muchas) de las combinaciones de bandas admitidas.
