Abstract

Se proporciona un método para mejorar el rendimiento de un catalizador de plata para la epoxidación que comprende un portador. El portador incluye al menos 80 por ciento de alúmina alfa y tiene un volumen de poro de 0.3 mL/g a 1.2 Ml/g, un área de la superficie de 0.3 m2/g a 3.0 m2/g, y una arquitectura de poro que proporciona al menos uno de una tortuosidad de 7 o menos, una constricción de 4 o menos y una permeabilidad de 30 mdarcys o mayor.
