Abstract
En la presente se describe un sistema de control (300; 800) para una unidad de bombeo de varilla (100); el sistema de control incluye un dispositivo de memoria (406), un sensor (330; 814), y un procesador (404); el dispositivo de memoria se configura para almacenar un perfil de velocidad (808) para controlar una sarta de varilla de succión de la unidad de bombeo de varilla; el sensor se configura para tomar las mediciones para determinar la carga de superficie (815) de la sarta de varilla de succión; el procesador se configura para ganar acceso al dispositivo de memoria y el perfil de velocidad; el procesador se configura además para determinar una fuerza de referencia (819); el procesador se configura además para recibir una medición desde el sensor y determinar la carga de superficie; el procesador se configura además para calcular una velocidad deseada (825) para dar órdenes a la unidad de bombeo de varilla; la velocidad deseada se calcula con base en una velocidad de referencia (809) a partir del perfil de velocidad, la fuerza de referencia y la carga de superficie.
