Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una instalación de laminación transversal (1) para el mecanizado de material laminado redondo (10), en particular de varillas metálicas para muelles helicoidales y/o para estabilizadores, que tiene tres unidades de laminación (11) con cilindros (12) que están dispuestos en un ángulo de 120° entre sí repartidos alrededor del eje de material laminado (13) del material laminado redondo (10) y forman una abertura entre cilindros a través de la que pasa el material laminado redondo (10), estando los cilindros (12) accionados de manera rotatoria mediante motores de accionamiento (14) alrededor de un eje de cilindro (15) y alojados en un cartucho de cilindros (16), y teniendo los ejes de cilindro (15) un desplazamiento angular con respecto al eje de material laminado (13) del material laminado redondo (10). Para crear una posibilidad de desplazamiento mejorada de los cilindros para modificar la abertura entre cilindros está previsto de acuerdo con la invención que los cilindros (12) se puedan desplazar de manera transversal al respectivo eje de cilindro (15) para modificar la abertura entre cilindros con los cartuchos de cilindros (16) en las unidades de laminación (11), y teniendo cada unidad de laminación (11) para desplazar los cilindros (12) una unidad de desplazamiento rápido (17) para el desplazamiento preferentemente libre de los cilindros (12) y una unidad de desplazamiento de aproximación (18) para la aproximación de los cilindros (12) contra fuerzas de laminación que aparecen, de manera engranada con el material laminado redondo (10).
