Abstract

Se describen un dispositivo y método para bloquear tuberías de petróleo y gas dañadas, tramos cortos de tubería que pueden aplicarse sobre la sección transversal de una porción de la tubería antes de la parte dañada. El dispositivo comprende una estructura esencialmente en U (1) equipada con elementos hidráulicos (2) fijados a ella que están adaptados para presionar la tubería desde dos lados opuestos para bloquearía y se operan por medio de una fuente hidráulica externa. El dispositivo está equipado además con elementos elevadores (9) que permiten la colocación apropiada sobre los tubos o tramos cortos de tubo que serán bloqueados.
