Abstract

Una composición enfriadora para la aplicación de un mamífero tal como un humano. La base de la composición es una red de polímero interpenetrante la cual puede contener un polímero termoresponsivo. Teniendo una temperatura crítica arriba de una temperatura de núcleo de cuerpo promedio, el material puede sufrir un cambio de fase al hacerse demasiado caliente la criatura, tal como cuando una persona experimenta bochornos, una fiebre, la exposición a ambientes muy calientes, ejercicio físico y similares. El cambio de fase resulta en un enfriamiento y/o una sensación de enfriamiento de la piel. Los aditivos pueden ser incluidos en la composición enfriadora tal como los componentes enfriadores evaporativos, los componentes enfriadores neurosensoriales y los componentes de cambio de fase adicionales.
