Abstract

Se describe un concreto estructural de peso ligero con capacidad de atornillado y capacidad de clavado similar a la madera que se compone de un agregado no estructural y e paso ultraligero tal como perlita expandida o una combinación de perlita expandida y perlas de poliestireno de una distribución de tamaño particular y cantidad en volumen, células de aire atrapadas u otra distribución de tamaño especifico y cantidad en volumen, y una composición cementosa densa de un aglutinante de cemento, un relleno estructural de grado fino no mayor que el grado de la arena de concreto, una puzolana y microfibras opcionales para refuerzo. Esta matriz de concreto estructural se optimiza para retener clavos T de calibre 13 y tornillos para madera de cabeza Philips con cuerdas que varían de 8 a 11 cuerdas por cada 2.54 centímetros (pulgadas) y diámetros de 0.25 cm a 0.35 cm (0.10" a 0.137"). El concreto resultante tendrá capacidad de atornillado y capacidad de clavado consistentes similares a aquellas de la madera.
