I fucking hate the idea of You must believe in the idea of "X is better than Y".

While ignoring complete workflows or needed functions that the user of another platform or "brand" used to use all the time.

Like Apple and their shitty walled garden making it feel premium while it is a worse user experience.

I have been using Fediverse for a long time since Mastodon was pupularized by issues of twitter.

And you are wondering what is Fediverse?

that are trying to force the internet to be centralized by becoming a dependacy to everyone.

Who loves Advertisements in their feeds or videos? Not me but they weren't this terrible or be a vector of malware delivery unless you go to sketchy websites.

In the past ads Were annoying but you would only see It on the sides of websites or on the bottom. Now you will see It everywhere even inside of videos.

Ofc ads wont be so bad unless your own search engine gives you malware because of them</a> or serve you NSFW ads on websites like Youtube,</a> or scamming u out of your login credentials.</a>

Because of that the FBI is recommending you to install adblockers to protect yourself from malware or scams.</a> It feels more and more that not using an adblocker is basically asking you to either get scammed or get malware, and ofc Big Tech will not give two flips about that bc they are getting paid per ad.

Altho in the past few years I Became less and less Happy the way in which tech is moving.

It is becoming more and more focused on capital and money instead of being user focused.

Which I don't like, for example your favorate chatting application 9 years ago would say no advertisements, or forcing subscriptions to you now you will be spammed with so many advertisements</a>.

Tech is becoming more and more shitified</a>, and less reliable and easy to break</a>.

Tech that is designed to DDOS you to rip your own work that has gotten so bad that a Tool needs to be Deployed to the UN</a>.

Techbros are ruining everything you love.

Sooner or later everything you take for granted will be made for profit, and unlimited growth for chairmen that love money, and want the world to suffer.

AI and why is it bad

Artificial intelligence or better known as Machine learning is a tech that you see everywhere marketed to your average person.</p>
AI is a marketing term since as at the time of writing, there's is no such thing as a "true AI"</p>
So why does AI get so much hate?</p>
One of the reasons i do see being mentioned frequently on the internet is that AI is used to cut down on labor costs or steal copyrighted meterial or spreading misinfomation.</p>
So to me, "AI" or machine learning as i like to call it, is a tool and tools get misused by users often. But, there are cases for AI, just not for replacing jobs or stealing copyrighted material.</p>


Why nobody should use discord as platform for information

Recently, I have seen FOSS projects replacing repos with Discord and it isn't good and this is why:</p>
1: Discord servers/invite links aren't index-able in search engine.</p>
2: You cant access those multimedia without creating an account first. (and verifying it with a phone number if that Discord server has that as option)</p>
3: Discord isn't designed as a multimedia sharing platform. (i.e messages or media will get lost to time if the user deletes the messages or media or have their account deleted)</p>
4: Discord's search feature does not work half the time. (i.e a message you sent 3 days ago will appear but a message you sent a week ago will not appear)</p>
5: Do not use discord as the only place for announcements or early builds of software for testing.</p>
An alternative to this is not using Discord for any of that.</p>
Its understandable for using Discord as community platform only and thats it.</p>
