Dog of Duty
A downloadable game for Windows
Dog of Duty
One good boy, One big mission
You are a Good Boy, the robot dog of a brilliant scientist who just invented the technology for teleportation.
The theme for the gamejam is "What you don't see"
There are some references to the game Cheddar by Manic Yak which is also an entry to the gamejam, so I highly recommend checking out that game first. The game might make more sense after playing that... or not.
The environment is mostly the demo room of Underground Scifi so there's not much of a game here. If you're stuck then you can watch the video and see all the locations.
Keys
WASD = Move
Spacebar = Jump
Escape = Quit the game (after the startup movie)

Gamejam
My interpertation of the theme:
spoilers
- You can't see the humans anymore
- You save the humans, but they don't see that you helped them and that there was a problem to begin with
I was going to do a lot more like niagara effects to show that the humans were faded, an ending cutscene in which the dog wags his tail and is happy that the humans are back (but they don´t notice anything was wrong and don´t know that he helped them), more mechanics like you can hear Cheddar but not see him and have to catch him before he poops more and causes glitches
but it's been a busy 10 days, so I couldn't focus on the game unfortunately
