This directory houses the Big-Internet mailing list archives, and
associated files.

Mailing list archives can be located in the sub-directory "list-archive".
Archives of traffic from previous months will be found in files named
YYYY-MM-Mon  (as in 1991-07-Jul), traffic from the current month will be
located in the file "current".  This list was created in July 1991, so the
earliest archive is that for July 91.  "Mising" archive files indicate
months in which there was no traffic.  Months are defined to begin at 00:00
on the first of each month, local time, Melbourne, Australia.

addrhack.txt			is the proposed ID/RFC allocating class E
				addresses.
rfc-bigip.txt			is an updated version of the above, switched
				to class C# instead
rfc-bigip.txt.2			later version of the above.

nsf-netnumbers-9203.ps		postscript of some graphs showing
				net number & advertised net usage patterns
				(as of March 1992)
nsf-netnumbers-9206.ps		updated version of the above, as of June 1, 92.

rfc1338.Z			Supernetting RFC


rfc1347.Z rfc1347.ps.Z		Compressed copy of rfc1347, Ross Callon's
				TUBA (TCP & UDP with Big Addresses).

eip.txt				Zheng Wang's Extended Internet Protocol (EIP)

saltzer-naming+binding		Jerome Saltzer's 1981 paper "On the Naming and
				Binding of Network Destinations"
				(see rfc1498 instead)

jnc-mobility			Noel Chiappa's internet draft (to be) entitled
				Mobilty and Multi-homing with Endpoint Names

IP-NAT				Kjeld Egevang's IP Network Address Translator
				paper, to be an internet draft.

ip.routing.architecture		Noel Chiappa's ancient (circa 1991) expired I-D
nimrod.old.draft		on the Nimrod routing architecture (the two
				names refer to the same file, fetch it once)

tcpv11b.txt			Carlson & Ficarella's draft (to be RFC) of
				a proposal for transpotr level addressing.
				(TA's - aka EIDs maybe).

You also probably want several internet drafts, which are available in
the directory ../internet-drafts (ie: a sibling directory of this one,
/internet-drafts works in anon ftp).
