Who are Frontier Peoples?
An eye-opening fact remains: there are over 80 million belonging to thousands of people groups who have never heard about Jesus. No church in their town. No believer in their family. No Bible in their language.
Who Are Frontier Peoples? is a prayer guide that introduces you to 36 of the largest of these people groups. Through captivating color illustrations, it gives a glimpse into their culture and daily life as seen through the eyes of a child, inspiring us to pray that they will know the love of Jesus.

Overview
In 2022, a group of art students from a local church in Los Angeles wanted to use their skills to further the Great Commission. They combined diligent research with artistic designs and heartfelt storytelling, to create an inspiring and informative prayer guide. Since then, this book has been translated into Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian and Arabic.
A podcast has also been created specifically for children and families.
This second edition, released in 2025, has been updated to include 5 more people groups, with new illustrations and information about their food, culture and way of life.
More than 5,000 people groups are still waiting to hear about Jesus’ love. Grouped by language and culture, these are considered frontier people groups because less than 0.1% of their population are Christian or less than 1 in 1,000 know Jesus.
