| Having saw all of Black Butler aside from this season, I must say, this season was hilarious. It wasn't suppose to be, but it definitely was. I was legit laughing at so many choices the writers made in this. The ending, in particular, was just the icing on the cake. I imagine this is what it looks like when fan-fiction gets green-lit for an anime. The only thing they left out was the flying space turtle waking up at the end and the audience realizing it was all a dream. A turtle's dream in outer space, that is. Jokes aside, this was not great, but I actually didn't hate it. There were some good moments with a wild ass ending. If I would have watched this back in the day though, I can only imagine how pissed I would have been, lol. However, knowing that the overall series recovered, I could enjoy a lot of the nonsense in this one. |
