Is One Piece Fan Letter worth watching (at this point in the story)?

So I'm almost done with Return to Sabaody and I heard that the recently made short special "One Piece Fan Letter" takes place around the time right after this. So I'm wondering whether you think this special episode is worth watching or not. It seems to be around the length of a regular episode and it's highly praised online. It has a very unique art style and is directed by Megumi Ishitani who seems to be regarded as one of the best directors of the series. Also, the narrative is supposed to be well done as well. But what are your thoughts?

One thing I'm wondering is the story doesn't seem to be very connected to the main narrative, so I'm wondering whether I should take a break at this point and stop to watch it. Also, the narrative seems to take a very different perspective compared to normal One Piece. I'm not asking whether the special was good and worth watching at some point because it definitely seems to be very good, but should I watch it now?

Edit: Seems like the general consensus from what people are commenting is that this special is definitely worth watching, even at this point. It looks like it could be left for later as it kind of adds onto the narrative in its own way and doesn't need to be watched right after RtS to have an impact, but seems like I might as well just watch it now before moving onto FMI. Will let everyone know how I liked it after watching. Thanks for all your responses

Watch it once you finish the Return to Sabaody arc. It’s not compulsory, but if you consider yourself a fan, it’s definitely worth checking out. The narrative adds a little more depth to the world-building, giving us a closer look at the lives of ordinary people and soldiers, and what it truly feels like to live in the One Piece world where insanely powerful individuals exist. The storytelling is immersive, and the animation is stunning, so I would highly recommend it.

you should definitely consider watching this as it gives the pov of how other characters view the strawhats and it is the best canon storyline.

definitely, I'd say it's my favourite thing the series has ever released (people got mad last time I said that, but to be clear, it's only that good because you have the context of the rest)

@Molduga What point in the story would you recommend I watch it? Seems like I might as well just watch it now before moving onto FMI. A lot of people seem to say that it is really good, so I was thinking I should go ahead and experience it for myself now. But what do you think?
