//TLDR
This project was a vehicle to try and get back into producing music, taking inspiration from covers as a less "stressful" [lol nope] process than originals, to document my fight from a deep health chasm over an 18 month period the material was assembled and to keep pushing what I could physically accomplish. There were 2 rules"
#1 - Whether a banger or a clanger, if it is a track that I belt at whatever top of the lungs I can muster while in closed ears working with power tools or on the tractor, it's a candidate track. #2 - No matter when the inspiration or the bloody minded let's fight and just do it occured, only one or two maximum takes allowed for vocal parts with no revisits or re-do down the line.
// TLDR
These rules may seem a bit silly, but it's a document, and the process was for me. Apologies if the vocals ruin it for you, but they are sincere and any pain and exhaustion you might pick out from them is real.
Many thanks to Jamie Hill and old friend, bandmate and writing partner Andy for their consistent support and boosts when I often needed them to keep going throughout this project.
Tremendous thanks to everyone that supported my donation and donate what you can commission campaign for helping me focus on music and healing this year. We've managed multiple remixes for others, 2 live shows build and performed [after a 6 year hiatus], this album completed, a remix EP and more in progress! I am well into an original album that you all will get early as soon as I can. If I wake up tomorrow, I'm going to make music with my friends.
