When four young orphans first meet, their parents’ bodies are being turned into dust, and yet none of them can shed a tear. They are like zombies; devoid of all emotion. The young teens decide that their new existence involves starting a band and conquering the world.

A hyperstylized coming-of-age tale that follows four adolescent orphans as they find unusual ways to process their emotions and deal with societal pressure. Director Makoto Nagahisa employs an array of audiovisual tricks to keep the laughs coming throughout this ingenious dark comedy.
