The prologue of Veil of Fate's demo is already available!

After years of drafts, rewrites, redone sprites, countless GUI updates, late nights learning Ren’Py, and even later nights falling in love with this world… I can finally share the prologue of this project with you.

This version(v0.2) includes:

• Prologue complete version;

• Around 60 minutes or more of gameplay;

• Introduction to the universe, atmosphere, and 5 central characters;

• Veil of Fate’s choice mechanic (yes, I’m talking about the butterflies!) 
  There are four types (each reflecting the nature of your decisions) and I’ll explain more about them in the next update! 👀

About the Dev

Hi there! I'm Meybin,  but you can call me Mey. I'm 22 years old and I'm so incredibly happy you're here!

I've always been passionate about games in general, especially otome games and everything romance/related (with a delightfully cursed taste for the dark ones).
I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, and I started working digitally around 2019. I discovered the amazing world of visual novels through Genius Inc. I'm also a writer (nothing published yet, but I'm working on it!).

I've always dreamed of creating my own visual novel, and Veil of Fate is that dream coming true. It’s been three years in the making and there’s still a long way to go, haha.
Three years of messy drafts turned into ideas, ideas back into drafts, months writing the script, so many sprites redone, tweaked, polished, countless GUIs made and remade… and somewhere in the middle of all that, a newbie learning to code from scratch all the way to what you see now. And yep, there’s still room to grow!

I first found Ren'Py on YouTube, after trying (and failing) with a bunch of other platforms.
